POINT INSPECTIONS
This is a visual inspection of the home to make sure that the structure
meets basic safety standards. The 4 point includes electrical, plumbing,
roof and heating / cooling. If a 5 point inspection is required,
windows are also inspected. When a home is over 50 years old an additional
electrical certification signed by an electrical contractor is also
often required. We have an electrical contractor on staff to handle
this for you.
ROOF ONLY INSPECTIONS
This is a more detailed inspection that covers only the roof, and
does not cover
the electrical, plumbing or HVAC systems. In addition to the exterior portion
of the roof,
access to the the attic is also required.
WINDSTORM MITIGATION INSPECTIONS
An inspection for structures that have windstorm insurance coverage.
This inspection is sometimes required by insurance carriers before writing
coverage
on the building. More often, it is the home owner who wants the inspection
in order to save money on their premium. If your home meets some of the requirements
-
roof covering meeting Florida Building Code requirements, protected openings,
proper roof attachments - homeowner can save up to 45% of their premiums every
year!!

RESIDENTIAL REPLACEMENT COST VALUATIONS
Higher valued homes - over 4,000 square feet or valued at over
$500,000 -
are often required to have this inspection completed.
This estimates the replacement value of the home structure if a
complete loss were to occur.
